Our Programs

The Sekao Foundation starts with two programs. The first program focusses on pregnant woman and their babies. We do this because over 90% of the women are neglected after pregnancy, they are unemployed and heavily abused. The second program aims to reduce unemployment and depression that is in our country and will lift our economy in a positive way.

Pregnant women program

We would like to start the program of taking care of the pregnant women from 3 months by giving them the right food every week and toiletries once a month so that it helps already with good child development from the mother’s womb. Then at 6 months we would like to give them 2 dresses for good ventilation for both.
After birth the baby and the mother will be given free maternity hamper for a period of 3 months, the hamper will be food, toiletries and clothes for the baby. We intend to have food subscription of 90 days which everyday meat and vegetables have to be collected from the supermarket. In extreme situations only with a signed contract that the mother will be participating in our schemes the foundation will give two people to take care of you and this people will put on tents and they will be full self- supporting. In cases of abuse the foundation will keep two bouncers for control and there will be a serious backup from force. We do this because over 90% of the women are neglected after pregnancy and they are unemployed and heavily abused. A good example is me I was neglected from two weeks of pregnancy and abused heavily verbally emotionally and physically so I understand the situation very well and I told myself that I won’t bow down to any pressure.  Research shows that out of 10 women only one has a baby daddy with a better relationship while the other 9 are neglected and abused severely and sometimes even killed after they give birth mostly in front of their children. The research shows that the year 2020 was the worst year at Botswana to women and it shows that over 10% of the women were killed by boyfriends. Research shows that over 60% women are taken advantage of because they are helpless and have no choice. The foundation intend to accommodate children from 3 months to 4 years for day care centre. The children should be picked up and dropped off with a parent signature. From 3 months the babies should be taught how to be positive minded, they will be talked to with love and respect we intend to grow them in a positive environment while their parents we will be giving work to do and we intend to start with 11 villages where Sekao comes from.
